Baked lamb. Culinary recipe.

Anyone who doesn’t like lamb just hasn’t tried it properly! Add some rosemary, mint, garlic to the meat — and negative culinary preferences can undergo a thorough review!

Ingredients:
• 1,5 kg of lamb (bone);
• 1 large head of garlic;
• 2 sprigs of rosemary;
• 3 tablespoons of olive oil;
• 1 tablespoon of dried mint;
• 2 tablespoons of orange jam;
• 1 bunch of mint;
• 400 ml of natural yogurt;
• salt;
• ground black pepper;

How to cook baked lamb.
Wash and dry the pericarp. Make deep punctures on the entire surface with a sharp knife. Peel half of the garlic cloves and cut into thin long slices.

Cut off the leaves from the rosemary sprigs. Place slices of garlic and rosemary in each indentation in the ham. Rub the meat with salt and ground black pepper.

Heat the oven to 210 degrees. Place the prepared bone on a baking sheet, sprinkle with olive oil, cover with foil and bake for about 1 hour.

Remove the foil, pour the resulting juice over the bone and sprinkle with dried mint. Then spread with warm orange jam and bake for another 1 hour.

Finely chop the mint for the sauce. Peel and chop the garlic cloves. Mix with mint, natural yogurt, salt and pepper to taste.

Remove the meat from the oven and cut into thin slices. Serve with prepared yogurt sauce. It is good to offer fried potatoes as a side dish.
