Recently, I came across a very interesting recipe on the Internet. Perhaps many have heard of him, but for me it was a revelation. To be honest, I didn’t even think it would be so tasty. Many of us love ice cream, and sometimes you can’t pull children away by the ears, but there are many artificial additives in purchased ice cream, so it’s better not to get too excited about it.

As a child, on vacation at my grandmother’s in the village, where ice cream was not brought to the store at all, but we really wanted it, my brothers and I made it ourselves, we simply froze milk, adding berries or jam to it. It’s certainly not ice cream, but for lack of anything better, it’s been a favorite treat for us.

But now I know how to make soft and delicious ice cream with just one ingredient. And this ingredient is a banana. The secret is that the banana contains a small amount of fat, which after whipping gives it a creamy structure.

Ingredients:
Bananas – 2 pcs.

How to make banana ice cream.

To prepare ice cream, we peel bananas, I had 2 of them.

Cut into small pieces, spread on a plate.

Freeze for 1-2 hours. Here are the same bananas after freezing.

Next, beat the frozen bananas in a blender.

At first, something like mashed banana will come out.

But we continue to beat until creamy.

With small breaks so that the blender does not burn, it took me no more than 2-3 minutes. Everything, the ice cream is ready, you can enjoy it. While I was photographing the finished result, my son was already standing next to me with a tablespoon, probably decided that it is not proper to eat such a delicacy with a teaspoon.

This ice cream has a soft consistency. I decided to try to make hard ice cream as well. To do this, I simply put a small amount of banana ice cream in a container, stuck a disposable spoon into it (I couldn’t think of anything else, now I’m looking for ice cream sticks in stores), closed the lid and sent it to the freezer.

Here’s what ended up.

My husband liked it better because he likes hard ice cream. Those who haven’t tried it yet, definitely try it, it takes a minimum of time and products, and the taste is amazing. In addition, without unnecessary additives.
