wheat flour – 500 g;
fresh yeast – 35 g (or 10 g instant);
creamy yogurt – 270 g;
fine sugar – 3 full tbsp. L.;
butter – 100 g;
egg yolks – 2 pcs.;
any jam – 100 g.

Today we are making yeast buns with jam. They are incredibly tasty and aromatic. Perfect for tea parties and meeting guests. The recipe is simple, the ingredients are available.

The process of making buns with jam.

  1. Pour 500 g of flour into a bowl. Also add a pinch of salt and 3 tbsp. l. sugar Then also add 2 egg yolks, yeast, 100 g of melted, cooled soft butter and 270 g of creamy yogurt.

Mix everything with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula. Move the bowl with the dough under the mixer. Knead the dough for 5 minutes. After kneading, it should be homogeneous, but rather sticky and loose. Leave the dough in the same bowl. Cover it with a cotton cloth and send it to a warm place for 1 hour. If necessary, increase the lifting time to 30 minutes.

I recommend sprinkling the completely cooled buns with jam liberally with powdered sugar before serving (the dough is not too sweet).
