I offer an everyday, simple and affordable cabbage salad (in my case, white cabbage, but you can also use Peking cabbage. And for dinner, it is a great option, when after a working day you don’t want to “wrack your head” over preparing hearty dishes. Boiled potatoes, baked fish or meat will be a great side dish.

The salad is prepared so quickly that you will definitely have time to watch TV, communicate with your family or do your favorite thing. And in general, just relax and rest.

— white cabbage;
— fresh carrots — 1-2 pcs.;
— eggs — 2 pcs.;
– salt, pepper to taste;
— salad dressing (of your choice);
– mayonnaise or sour cream for dressing.

How to make cabbage salad.

Eggs are washed, boiled cool. Cool in cold water.

Finely chop the cabbage.

Sprinkle with salt. Now it is necessary to crumple it with your hands so that it becomes softer and permeates with salt. If you use Peking for salad, then this procedure can be skipped by simply adding salt. We send it to a salad bowl.

Peel the carrot, rub it on a grater.

Combine with cabbage.

Pepper to taste. I added more salad spices, but it’s up to you.

Peel the eggs from the shell. Cut into pieces and mix in a salad bowl with vegetables.

Dress the ready cabbage salad with mayonnaise.

I love unhealthy store-bought mayonnaise, so I used it. You can freely substitute sour cream. Boil potatoes for garnish. A light and quick dinner is ready.
