chicken fillet – 250 g;
romaine lettuce – 2 small heads;
grated parmesan or grana padano – 5 tbsp. l.
small baguette or ciabatta – 1/2 pc.;
oil for frying;
a large pinch of salt and pepper.

mayonnaise – 3 tbsp. l .;
mustard (for example, Dijon) – 1 tsp;
garlic – 1 clove;
lemon juice – 1 tsp;
Worcestershire sauce – 1 + 1/2 tsp;
a pinch of black pepper.

If you want something light, but at the same time tasty, then Caesar salad will be your hit! A fresh salad, crispy croutons, fried chicken, some Parmesan cheese and an amazing Caesar dressing make for a combination that’s hard to resist. Caesar salad is extremely tasty and filling. A true classic among salads! It is served in many restaurants, but it is very easy to prepare at home.

  1. Caesar salad is prepared quite quickly. The best taste immediately after cooking. The recipe makes two large portions of salad (for two). We serve immediately on plates, and not in a large bowl, as in the case of other salads. We start by making toast – cut a smaller baguette into slices, and then into cubes. Fry in a hot pan with the addition of butter or ghee (1 tablespoon) until the croutons are golden.

If you don’t use all the sauce, just store it in the fridge by placing the bowl in a small container with a lid.
