Caesar salad with tuna » Culinary recipes of dishes with photos. home cuisine

This salad periodically appears on the menu of our family due to the fact that the husband simply adores canned tuna. That’s why I always have to find new recipes with this ingredient. And such a Caesar is brought to the fore.

I admit, I myself feel good about tuna. I like both its taste qualities and the fact that it is very easy to cook with it.

The amount of ingredients listed below can easily be enough for 4 servings of salad. But today I prepared 2 large portions. It turned out to be an independent dish for lunch, and very filling.

1 bunch of lettuce;
1 can of canned tuna in its own juice;
about 100 g of white bread for croutons;
4 hard-boiled eggs;
100 g of hard cheese.

For the sauce:
100 g of mayonnaise;
1 teaspoon of lemon juice;
1/4 tsp. mustard (I took very little, because I have very hot mustard; less hot mustard can be used in larger quantities);
1 clove of garlic.

How to make Caesar salad with tuna.

Lettuce is soaked in cold water for 15 minutes. This will make it very fresh and help clean it of debris. After that, wash under running water and dry.

Cut off the crust of white bread, cut it into cubes and toast the croutons in the oven until golden.

Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.

Take the tuna out of the can and mash it with a fork.

For the sauce, mix mayonnaise, chopped garlic, lemon juice and mustard.

Place lettuce leaves on a large flat dish (you can tear them). Cut each egg into 4 parts and lay them out on the leaves. We also lay out the tuna evenly.

Spread the croutons, pour the sauce over the salad.

Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
