Lovers of Italian cuisine will definitely like this recipe. Calzone is an Italian pizza that you can easily make at home and add your favorite ingredients to create your perfect version. The filling depends only on you and the capabilities of your refrigerator. To me, it tastes the same both hot and cold. Although it is known that the best is straight from the oven, immediately after it cools down a bit!

This recipe makes 2 pcs. Generously stuffed with mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, red pepper and ham. I really like calzones with this filling, but if you want, you can use your favorite meat (grilled chicken, sausage, chorizo, salami) or vegetable (red onion, canned corn, sun-dried tomatoes) ingredients. I also really like the version with Parmesan and with ricotta.

The process of making a calzone.
