Caramelized oranges in chocolate

1. Cut the oranges into circles 0,5 cm thick with the peel. Boil water in a saucepan, put oranges in it and boil for 5 minutes to remove bitterness from them. Discard in a colander.

2. Make a syrup from sugar and water, when it boils, put oranges in it, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook for 1 hour.

3. Put the orange circles on a rack in a heated oven, dry them for 15 minutes. on each side. Allow the oranges to cool.

4. Melt the chocolate in a steam bath, dip the oranges in it until half, lay them out on foil or parchment. Leave to harden.

° Such oranges can be stored for a month in a cool place in a closed container.
