Not so long ago, I tried to make a quick salad with cheese and smoked chicken. The variety and incomparability of the ingredients really surprised me then. The first time I tried to make it with sour cream and it turned out very tasty, my husband was surprised how this could turn out in combination with cheese, he ate almost all of it himself. Today I deviated a little from the original recipe, waited and this is what came out.
Ingredients:
green onion – 4 pcs.;
lemon – half;
tomatoes – 1 pcs.;
cottage cheese 300 g;
fresh dill – 1 bunch;
sour cream mayonnaise – 200 g;
fresh cucumber – 1 pc.;
smoked thighs – 2 pcs.
Cooking a salad with cheese and smoked chicken.
This is a leafy salad. Our first layer will be smoked meat. Therefore, we disassemble our thighs, separating the meat from the bone.
Then the meat, freed from the bone, is cut into the same small pieces. It is difficult to call these parts cubes, but still, we place the cubes in a salad bowl.
Grease the “smoked” layer with mayonnaise. I already mentioned that I made this salad with sour cream for the first time, but mayonnaise is also very good. Thanks to these sauces, the flavors of salads become completely different, like two completely different salads.
The next stage is cucumber. It consists, as you already guessed, of cucumber cubes, so we wash the cucumber and cut it into neat cubes of equal size.
You can not salt the layer. It is sandwiched between a salty cheese and smoked chicken layer, so it can be redundant.
Now let’s tackle the layer, thanks to which, in fact, the salad got its name. But we will disguise the cheese a little and give it slightly different taste qualities. First, finely chop the fresh dill.
Put the cheese in a convenient bowl. Place chopped dill in the same bowl. We salt it. Add enough mayonnaise. Half of all the mayonnaise intended for the entire salad will go on the cheese.
Mix well the cheese with the other ingredients in a bowl. You will get a nice cheese mass.
This is the top layer. Spread the curd mass evenly on the cucumber cubes.
Although there is enough mayonnaise in the cheese, we still smear the layer with mayonnaise.
Next, cut green onions to decorate the top of the leafy salad.
Sprinkle onions on our almost ready dish. And decorate it with tomato and lemon, cut into slices. This is the salad that came out.
