It is not difficult to bake a chicken in a regular oven. I will teach you how to bake chicken in a jar in the oven, right in its own juices! I promise amazing taste! This is a very good and old way of baking chicken in the oven and in a jar. My beautiful mother-in-law taught me this, for which I am grateful. Chicken is cooked in its own juice, it turns out very juicy, very similar to stew and is eaten quickly.

About one medium chicken is placed in a liter jar. There is an important point that should be taken into account if you are going to bake a chicken like this: you should salt twice as much as usual! Otherwise, the bird may be oversalted. It has already been tried and tested at home. In addition, it is easier to add salt to the plate than to remove the excess from the dish.

The meat is tender, juicy and very aromatic. At the same time, preparing the dish is very simple. It only takes 5-10 minutes of my time.

In order to make 3 baked chicken quarters in a jar, I needed.

chicken quarters – 2 pcs.;
garlic – 1/2 head;
salt, pepper and other spices to taste.

The process of cooking chicken.

First, peel the garlic and cut it into slices.

Wash the chicken quarters well and let them dry a little.

We rub them with salt, pepper and other spices according to your taste.

Cut the chicken quarters into such pieces that they pass through the neck of the jar. If the quarters are small and go into the jar without problems, you can not cut them at all. We put pieces of chicken in a jar, generously sprinkling them with slices of garlic.

I have a liter jar. If you have a larger chicken, you can also take a three-liter can.
We cover the jar with a metal lid without a rubber band, put it in a heat-resistant form and send it to the oven for 1,5 hours. The temperature should be around 150-160 degrees. After an hour and a half, we get our jar.
