Ingredients:
salt – to taste;
water – 200 ml;
granulated sugar – 2-3 tablespoons;
wheat flour – 350-400 g;
cocoa powder – 3 tablespoons;
cheese 9% — 360 g;
vegetable oil – 1 tsp;
cherry jam – 3 tablespoons;
chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
How to make chocolate dumplings.
To prepare the chocolate dough, first mix all the dry ingredients – flour, cocoa and a pinch of salt.
Then mix 1 egg with water and oil. Add this liquid mixture to the dry mixture and knead the dough. Butter will make the dough more elastic. If necessary, add more flour. Put the dough in a bag and leave for 30 minutes.
Now let’s do the filling. Mix cheese, sugar and 1 egg.
Next, roll out part of the dough to a thickness of 3 mm. Cut everything using a glass or mug.
Next, we spread the cheese mass on the circle of dough, and in the middle a cherry (pitted) from cherry jam. You can also use frozen cherries.
Form a dumpling, the edges need to be molded very well.
We cook chocolate dumplings like regular dumplings. Drop the dumplings into boiling salted water. Immediately mix carefully with a spoon so that they do not stick. Cook for 5 minutes until they float.
Serve warm, you can with a piece of butter or sour cream. I decorated these chocolate dumplings like this by pouring some cherry jam and sprinkling with decorative sprinkles for decorating cakes.
