A few centuries ago, our Christian ancestors did not even think about how to prepare salads for Christmas, simply because the tradition of preparing them for the festive table did not exist. However, today, preparing Christmas salads at home has firmly grown into our modern tradition of this holiday, and we cannot imagine a feast without any salads.

When preparing this salad, each ingredient is assembled and distributed over the dishes in layers. Dishes are selected that will be displayed on the festive table.
You can put it in a deep salad bowl or a not very deep one.

Ingredients:
salmon – 400 g;
chicken eggs – 5 pc.;
potatoes – 200 g;
onion – 1 pc.;
butter – 100 g;
hard cheese – 150 g;
mayonnaise – 70 g;
red caviar – 300 g.

How to make a Christmas salad.

Cut the salmon into small pieces, arrange and distribute on the bottom of the dish.

Boil potatoes. Grate boiled potatoes on a coarse grater. Place on top of the salmon and spread evenly.

Boil an egg. Clean and separate the whites separately from the yolks. Grate the protein on a coarse grater and spread it evenly on the plate on top of the potatoes.

Grate the yolk finely and spread on a plate on top of the protein.

Finely chop the onion and spread it on a plate on top of the yolk.

Grate the butter on a coarse grater and spread evenly on the dish on top of the onion.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and spread evenly over the butter.

Carefully cover the entire surface of the salad with mayonnaise, without mixing.

Spread the red caviar over the entire surface of the salad covered with mayonnaise.

Depending on the holiday, you can write or depict something with caviar (let your imagination run wild here). Good taste and happy holidays.
