How to make dough for dumplings. How to cook dumplings with strawberries. The most successful dough recipe for dumplings.

For the dough:
flour – 400 g;
water (boiling water) – 250 ml;
vegetable oil – 50 ml;
salt – 1/2 tsp.

For the filling:
strawberries – 150-200 g;
sugar – to taste.

How to make dough.

We sift the flour through a sieve. Pour half of the sifted flour into a container.

Add salt and vegetable oil to boiling water, mix quickly. Add boiling water to half the flour and quickly knead the dough with a spoon.

We add flour little by little and continue to knead the dough, but already by hand. We put the dough in a food bag and leave it to rest for 30 minutes, and then we take it out of the bag and start molding the dumplings.

This custard dough is valued for its excellent working properties, it is pliable, thinly rolled, and almost does not dry out. It is suitable for dumplings with various fillings, especially with berries and fruits. Now we will prepare dumplings with strawberries.

How to cook dumplings.

Small strawberries do not need to be cut.

Divide the dough into two parts. Roll out 1 part of the dough thinly and cut circles with a cup. Put a little sugar and a piece of strawberry in the middle of the circle, and then connect the edges of the dough.

First, we cook the dumplings from one part of the dough, since the strawberries release juice and the dough can swell and tear during cooking. Salt the boiling water, mix and lay out the dumplings. We wait until the water boils and the dumplings float. Cook the dumplings for another 3 minutes.

Place the dumplings on a plate. If desired, they can be poured with melted butter.
