Festive chicken salad for the New Year – a recipe with a photo

Today we will prepare a leafy salad with chicken breast. This salad is a real decoration of the festive table, it is beautiful, bright and very tasty.

canned corn – 1 can;
Korean carrots – 250 g;
hard cheese – 150 g;
onion – 1/2 pc.;
boiled eggs – 4 pcs.;
baked chicken breast – 1 pc.;
dill – 1 bunch;
sweet red pepper – 1/4 pc.;
fresh cucumber – 1/4 pc.;
mayonnaise – 100 g;
sugar – 1 tbsp. L.;
vinegar – 3 tbsp. l.;
water – 5 tbsp. l.

The process of preparing a holiday salad.

Let’s prepare pickled onions. Mix vinegar, sugar and water. Mix the marinade until the sugar dissolves. Cut the onion into small cubes and put it in the marinade for about 20 minutes.

Now let’s prepare the ingredients for the salad. Cut the baked chicken breast into cubes.

Grate boiled eggs on a coarse grater.

We also rub the cheese on a coarse grater.

For convenience, transfer the mayonnaise to a pastry bag. We collect the salad in a ring with a diameter of 17 cm. The first layer is laid out with chopped chicken breast. In order for the salad to keep its shape, you need to tamp the layers well with a fork. Add mayonnaise on top.

Place the marinated onions on the chicken breast. Lubricate with a little mayonnaise.

In the next layer, we lay out carrots in the Korean style and also grease them with mayonnaise. We leave a small amount for decoration.

Put grated eggs on carrots. Apply mayonnaise again.

Next is a layer of corn, we apply a little mayonnaise. We also leave a little corn for decoration.

We spread the grated cheese in the last layer and grease it with mayonnaise.

Now we will prepare the ingredients for decorating the salad. Cut a quarter of red sweet pepper into small cubes.

We also cut half of the cucumber into small cubes.

Chop carrots in Korean style.

Finely chop the dill.

Decorate the salad with rings of chopped vegetables.

Carefully remove the ring. The salad is ready, it can be served on the table.
