Festive salad with chicken fillet, peanuts and mushrooms – recipe

I found this salad on the Internet when I had a certain set of products and needed to prepare a delicious dish from these products.

chicken fillet – 250 g;
hard cheese – 150 g;
marinated mushrooms – 250 g;
carrot – 2 pc.;
potatoes – 2-3 pcs.;
chicken eggs – 4 pc.;
walnuts – 10 pcs.;
salt – to taste;
mayonnaise – to taste.

Salad preparation process.

First, you need to boil the ingredients. Carrots (cooked in a double boiler, it turns out even more useful).

We boil the potatoes “in their uniforms”, then peel them.

We boil the chicken fillet in the usual way, it is necessary to add salt during cooking. In general, you can use smoked chicken, but then the salad will be more piquant.

I always roast walnuts first and then peel them, then they turn out tastier, after that they need to be chopped.

Next, we should grind our other ingredients. My mushrooms were already cut, it is better if there were small pieces.

Cut the boiled chicken fillet into pieces, also smaller.

It is better to grate carrots and potatoes on a coarse grater, I grated the cheese on a fine grater, since the “Parmesan” I used is hard. Finely chop the eggs or grate them on a coarse grater.

We begin to lay out the layers.
1 layer, the bottom — chopped carrots.

2nd layer – grated cheese.

4th layer — potatoes. Spread mayonnaise on top.

5th layer – chicken fillet.

6th layer – mushrooms.
7th layer – nuts.

Next, we lay out the layers in the reverse order.
8th layer – potatoes.
9th layer – eggs, smear mayonnaise on top.
10th layer – cheese.
11th layer – carrots. You can also lightly grease with mayonnaise, as this is the top layer. In the original recipe, this layer was not greased, that is, the top of the salad was orange, but I think it’s better that way.

Then we repeat the layers in the reverse order. This is how our layers will look in section.

The result is such a salad, you can somehow decorate the top with cut vegetables or simply sprinkle with greens. Well, our summary is on the plate. The middle of the salad (breast, nuts and mushrooms) is visible on the cut very well.

I want to once again name all the layers in order so that it is convenient to lay them out (from bottom to top): carrot-cheese-eggs-potato-mayonnaise-meat-mushroom-nuts-potato-egg-mayonnaise-cheese-carrot-mayonnaise.
