Lubricate the pan with oil, heat it well, lay out the meat and fry it on high heat on both sides for 1,5 minutes.

Put the fried meat tightly in a mold, salt and pepper.
It is advisable to take a small form (at the time of preparing this recipe, I did not have one at hand), so that the meat completely fills the bottom of the form.

Put a layer of onions on the meat.

Pour mayonnaise generously over the onion (mayonnaise should not be too thick).

Put a layer of grated cheese on the mayonnaise. Place the form with the meat in an oven preheated to 180 °C and bake for 15 minutes. Then turn off the oven. It is necessary to leave the meat in the oven for another 15 minutes, so that it “breathes”.

While still hot, cut the meat into portions and serve with vegetables. The meat is ready in the French way.
