Fresh cabbage salads – 3 recipes with photos

Cabbage and sausage are products of completely different origin, but, nevertheless, they are very well combined. No wonder Germans love sauerkraut and smoked Bavarian sausages so much. We are not German, so we will have something a little different: the cabbage is fresh, but the sausage is also smoked.

Ingredients:
smoked sausage – 100 g;
pickled cucumber – 1 piece;
fresh white cabbage – 200 g;
green onion – several “feathers”;
salt – a pinch;
vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.

Salad preparation process.

Wash the head of cabbage, remove the top leaves from it, cut off a piece of the desired size from the head and cut it the way you like the most. Place in a deep container: a bowl or a saucepan.

Take the pickled cucumber out of the jar, squeeze it slightly from the brine and, without peeling the skin, cut it into half circles.

First cut the sausage into circles, and then into not very thick strips. Which sausage to take for this salad is not essential.

Green onions are washed under running water, soaked with a paper napkin or shaken, and then not very coarsely chopped.

Pour all the ingredients into the cabbage container, mix well.

Dress our salad, add salt and serve.

2. Salad with cabbage and olives.

This light spring vegetable salad is suitable not only for any side dish. It can be eaten for breakfast or dinner as a main dish. A minimum of calories, a pleasant taste, and many benefits! Be sure to cook.

Ingredients:
olives – 100 g;
fresh cabbage – 200 g;
tomato – 1-2 pieces;
green onion – several “feathers”;
salt, ground pepper – on the tip of a knife;
vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.

We are preparing a salad.

Let’s start with green onions. We will wash it and cut it.

Next, we deal with tomatoes. For the salad, we choose a beautiful one, not too soft, but not too hard, without dents, not rotten. If you have a large tomato, one will be enough, if it is small, take a couple. Cut the tomato into medium-sized cubes.

We will wash the cabbage, cut off a piece of the required weight, remove the upper leaves from it. Next, cut the cabbage into squares, the same size as the tomatoes.

Get the olives out of the can. We put them whole in the salad. Put everything in a plate, add pepper and salt.

Let’s dress a delicious salad with vegetable oil.

Mix well and serve.

3. Salad with cabbage and corn.

Making a tasty, simple, hearty and at the same time light salad for a dinner or holiday table without spending a lot of money is quite realistic and simple. Use this recipe and this salad will become one of your favorites.

Ingredients:
canned corn – 200 g;
smoked sausage – 150 g;
fresh white cabbage – 200 g;
parsley – several sprigs;
salt – a pair of bunches;
vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.

How to prepare a salad.

We remove the skin from the sausage, first cut it into circles, and into rings – into not very thick strips.

We take a springy and fresh head of cabbage, wash it well under running tap water, and then cut off a piece of the right size. We remove a couple of upper leaves from the piece, and then cut it as you like or as it is convenient for you.

We take our parsley and wash it. Then we shake off the water well and cut it. Instead of parsley, you can take any other greens that you like the most.

We take the corn out of the can, wash it if desired, squeeze it slightly from the water. Pour all the ingredients of the salad into a deep bowl.

Mix everything well, adding salt and vegetable oil.

We serve the salad to the table immediately after cooking.
