Humpback whale in the oven with potatoes and tomatoes, baked in a delicate cream-cheese sauce, you will definitely like it. Despite the rather large set of ingredients, this very tasty dish is prepared easily and quickly. This dish is perfect for a full lunch or dinner.

Gorbusha prepared in this way is especially tender and tasty, and most importantly, it is not dry. I would also like to say something about the potato side dish. The potatoes are incredibly tasty and aromatic, and thanks to the butter and sauce, they are also juicy and tender. Thanks will be provided to you!

1 pc. redfish;
1 pc. tomatoes;
8 pcs. medium-sized potatoes;
3 Art. l. sour cream;
2nd tooth garlic;
1-2 pcs. onion;
30 g of butter;
0,5 pcs. lemon;
2 pcs. chicken eggs;
1 pcs. carrots;
mayonnaise to taste;
150 g of hard cheese;
salt and spices to taste;
vegetable oil for frying – to taste.

The method of cooking redfish in the oven.

First, prepare the fish. To do this, it must be cleaned of scales, rinsed and dried with a paper towel. Cut off the head, tail and fins (they can be used to prepare aromatic soup) and cut into portioned steaks, about 2 cm wide.

The taste of fish is quite rich in itself and quickly absorbs the aromas of spices, but you should not abuse them. I added only black pepper, salt and lemon juice. This will be quite enough to not overpower its unique taste.

We leave it in this form to marinate for a while, and in the meantime we prepare other ingredients. Cut the onion into half rings.

Grate the carrots.

Now fry the onion in vegetable oil for just a couple of minutes.

And we send carrots to her. Let’s fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes. You don’t need to deep-fry the vegetables, because they still have to go to the oven. In the process, the vegetables can be lightly salted.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into rings.

Now that everything is ready, let’s start laying out our dish. We cover the form in which the humpback whale with vegetables will be baked with a double layer of foil and grease it with oil.

We lay out the fish at a short distance from each other.

Fill the free space with a thin layer of potatoes.

Lightly salt the layer and cover it with mayonnaise (you can replace it with sour cream).

Spread the onion and carrot on top.

We spread the remaining potatoes on top, and we put a circle of tomato on each piece of sea cucumber.

Now let’s prepare the filling sauce. To do this, beat 2 eggs in a deep cup, add salt to taste and sour cream.

Mix until smooth.

And rub cheese and garlic here.

Mix everything well. done

Pour the sauce over the grayling steaks, and divide the rest among the potatoes.

We cover the form from above with foil and send it to a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. Then you need to take out the form, open the foil and sprinkle the dish with fresh herbs, for example, dill.

Put it back in the oven and cook the potatoes until done. As soon as the top sets, I take out the mold and again pass a piece of butter over the top, generously greasing and soaking the top. Then I send it back.

I cannot specify the exact cooking time, as everything depends on the characteristics of your oven, the size of the form and the thickness of the potatoes. The main thing is to keep it in the foil for the specified time, and there we are guided by the softness of the potatoes, since it takes longer to cook. Fish should be served with fresh vegetables and greens.
