Hake stewed in tomato with carrots and onions. Fish recipe

hake – 1 kg;
medium carrot – 3 pcs.;
large onion – 2 pcs.;
tomato juice – 0,7 liters;
flour – 0,5 cups;
salt, pepper – to taste;
vegetable oil for frying.

For fish lovers, I offer a simple and very tasty dish. This is hake stewed with carrots and onions in tomato sauce. Vegetables will add juiciness and complement the delicate taste of fish.

Tomato sauce, impregnating the fish, makes it incredibly juicy and tender. It crumbles and literally melts in the mouth, perfectly separating from the bones.

For lovers of fish dishes, this recipe will be just right, because it is simple, useful and very tasty!

The process of cooking hake in tomato with carrots and onions.

Cut the fish into equal pieces. Salt and pepper the hake. We mix.

Pour vegetable oil into a well-heated pan. Roll the pieces of fish in flour and spread them on the pan.

In this way, we fry all the pieces of our prepared fish. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Fry until the fish is completely cooked.

We take out the prepared hake on a plate. Now you need the fish to cool down.

In the meantime, we need to grate our carrots. You can do it with a regular grater.

Cut the onion. Pour vegetable oil into the pan. Pour the onion and fry it until golden.

Then add our carrots. We mix all this. And fry until the vegetables are fully cooked.

Pour half of the fried carrots and onions into the form where we will stew our fish. On top, we lay out the hake, from which we removed all the bones.

Pour tomato juice into the second half of carrots and onions. Stir and let it boil for about 5-7 minutes.

Now pour tomato juice with carrots and onions into our fish. We put it on fire. Cover with a lid. In this way, we stew the hake for about 25 minutes.

The fish is ready. It can be used both warm and cold.
