Holiday salad for the New Year – a recipe with a photo

Salad recipe for the New Year. This is an excellent salad option that can be prepared for the festive table. The chef recommends this dish for the holidays.

Ingredients:
smoked meat – 150 g;
boiled potatoes – 300 g;
canned green peas – 200 g;
eggs – 4 pcs.;
onion – 50-60 g;
flour – 1 tbsp. L.;
mayonnaise – 150 g;
soda – a pinch;
salt – to taste;
vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. L.;
sprig of parsley – 5 pcs.

Salad preparation process.

Beat the eggs lightly with 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise, add a pinch of salt, soda, flour and mix everything thoroughly.

From the prepared dough, fry 2 thin pancakes in vegetable oil. We will not let them cool down.

Grease the pancakes with mayonnaise. Wrap with a roll and cut into pieces 5-8 mm thick.

Finely chop the onion, pour boiling water over it for 5 minutes. Then drain the water and squeeze the onion.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes.

Combine potatoes with onions, mayonnaise and mix.

Cut the smoked meat into cubes.

Combine the meat with peas, mayonnaise and mix.

Cover a deep round salad bowl with cling film and place the pancake roll evenly over the entire surface.

Put half of the potato mass on top of the roll, then put the meat with peas, and the potato mass again.

We will connect the edges of the film together and send the salad to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Before serving, turn the salad onto a serving dish with the pancakes facing up, remove the film, decorate with mayonnaise, green peas and herbs.
