Homemade potatoes in the oven – a recipe with a photo

Today we are preparing very tasty country-style potatoes, which will go well with any meat and fish. And it is also delicious to eat simply with sauce and a fresh salad.

new potatoes – 1,5 kg;
salt – 1 tsp. (or to taste);
black pepper – 1/2 tsp. (or to taste);
dried garlic – 1/2 teaspoon;
paprika – 1/2 teaspoon;
turmeric – 1/2 tsp;
dried dill (or Italian herbs) – 1 teaspoon;
olive oil – 3 tbsp. l.

Potatoes should be washed well and dried. Cut it into pieces.

Transfer to a larger container and add your favorite spices to taste. It can be a special mixture for potatoes or you can add whatever you like. In this case, 1,5 teaspoon of salt, 1/1 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 teaspoon of dried granulated garlic (fresh garlic will burn in the oven), 0,5 teaspoon of paprika, 0,5 teaspoon of teaspoons of turmeric for a golden color and 0,5 teaspoon of dried dill (you can add Italian herbs instead of dill). If you like, add a pinch of basil, oregano, rosemary. Mix everything.

Add olive or vegetable oil (about 3 tablespoons) and mix again. Olive oil in combination with spices gives an amazing aroma.

You can cover the baking tray with baking paper. We distribute the potatoes so that there is a small distance and send them to an oven heated to 200 degrees for 40-50 minutes, depending on the type of potato.

After 20 minutes, the temperature can be reduced to 180. This is such a simple but very tasty recipe for potatoes in the peasant style.
