Hot Greek appetizer – a recipe with a photo

Today’s recipe is for the Greek snack “Buyurdi”. You can easily surprise your loved ones with this dish. This is the most popular Greek hot snack. Classic “Buyurdi” is usually prepared with tomatoes, pepper and feta cheese. But today we will cook this dish with tomatoes and mushrooms – it will be even tastier!

Ingredients:
tomatoes – 2 pcs.;
onion – 1 pc.;
champignons – 6 pcs.;
“Feta” cheese – 300 g;
balsamic vinegar – 1 tbsp. l.;
olive oil – 2 tbsp. L.;
honey – 1 tsp;
salt – to taste.;
ground black pepper – to taste;
ground nutmeg – to taste;
parsley – 1 bunch;
garlic – 2 cloves.

The process of preparing a Greek snack.

Cut the garlic into thin slices.

Cut the onion into half rings.

Cut the mushrooms into thin slices.

Cut the tomatoes into rings.

Cut the cheese into cubes.

Finely chop the parsley.

Grease a baking dish with olive oil. We put chopped cheese, garlic, tomatoes and mushrooms in a form, alternating them in rows. Then salt, pepper and sprinkle with greens.

Let’s prepare the sauce. To do this, mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, pepper and nutmeg.

Pour the resulting sauce over our dish and cover with foil. We will bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes. Moreover, the first 10 minutes with foil, and then without.
