The process of making Bolognese pasta.

  1. Put a frying pan with a thick bottom on the fire. Add 2 tbsp. l. oil for frying. Put the peeled and finely chopped onion in the pan. Fry the onion over medium heat for about 8 minutes, until it turns brown. After this time, add 2 cloves of garlic. Clean them in advance and cut them into slices. Fry the onion and garlic for another 2 minutes.

Advice: If you want to add bacon (or also guanciale, pancetti), first finely chop it and add it to the pot before the beef. That is: 2 tablespoons of oil, then finely chopped bacon and, after about 5 minutes of frying, minced meat.

40 minutes before the end of cooking, also pour 1/3 cup of milk. Stir the sauce and cook for the last 40 minutes (covered all the time).
