How to cook khachapuri – a recipe with a photo

Today we will prepare delicious khachapuri, very quick and simple, since we will not make yeast dough, but a simpler version of it.

flour – 450-500 g;
kefir – 1 glass;
salt – 0,5 tsp;
sugar – 0,5 teaspoon;
soda – 0,5 tsp;
cheese – 150 g;
hard cheese – 200 g;
garlic – 2 cloves;

The process of making khachapuri.

Pour kefir into a bowl, add sugar and salt, add soda and mix well so that the soda begins to react with the acidic environment of kefir. Kefir begins to foam and fizz, it even increases slightly in volume.

Now add flour little by little. First, we knead with a spoon, and when it becomes difficult to do this, we begin to switch to manual kneading. Put the dough in a bag for half an hour.

Now we make the filling. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

In a bowl, mix cheese with grated hard cheese and finely chopped greens. Grate the garlic on a fine grater. And now we try to mix it all into a homogeneous mass.

Take the dough out of the bag and divide it into four equal parts. Now we roll out each piece into a cake.

We also divide the filling into 4 parts and spread it on half of the cake. Close and pinch the edges very well.

On hot vegetable oil, fry our cakes on both sides until a beautiful golden color.
