Shop salad is a dish that has Balkan roots. As a rule, it is prepared in Eastern Europe, Bulgaria, Moldova, Montenegro, Ukraine. The salad is especially popular in Bulgaria, where it is a kind of analogue of the Greek salad.

Ingredients:
tomatoes – 3-4 pcs.;
cucumbers – 2-3 pcs.;

salt, pepper – to taste;
olive oil – to taste;

But to prepare a proper Shop salad, you need to follow several conditions.
First, the proportion of ingredients used: 35% – tomatoes, 30% – cucumbers, 20% – peppers, 10% – cheese and 5% – onions.

How to properly prepare Shop salad.
Wash all vegetables well. Bake the pepper in the oven for about 25-30 minutes at a temperature of 190-200 degrees. Then we wrap the finished pepper in a bag and leave it for 10 minutes so that the skin can be easily removed later.
Take it out, peel it and cut it into thin long strips. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Cut the onion into thin feathers. Leave the olives whole.
Cut the tomatoes in half, then each half into 3 more parts.
Peel the cucumbers, cut them in half lengthwise, then cut each half into thick pieces.
In a large bowl, mix tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and onions. Add vinegar and olive oil to taste, pepper and salt (the main thing here is not to overdo it, if the cheese is very salty, you can not add salt at all).
We put it in portioned bowls (in the original, it is customary to serve such a salad in a large bowl at once for everyone), sprinkle with cheese and add a couple of olives on top.
