How to make tea with ginger? The best recipe for tea!

a piece of fresh ginger root – 20 g;
favorite tea — in bags or loose;
water – 750 ml;
lemon juice – 0,5 pcs.;
possible additives: honey, cinnamon, orange juice, lemon balm or mint.

Delicious warming ginger tea is an excellent drink on cold days. The recipe is very versatile because I offer you several ways to prepare ginger tea.

The process of making ginger tea.

  1. Wash the fresh ginger root thoroughly. It does not need to be cleaned. A piece weighing about 20 g is enough for the given amount of ingredients.

Advice: to make ginger tea, you can also brew any other of your favorite teas or infusions. It can be green, white or yellow tea, chamomile or rosehip infusion or fruit tea. However, remember that different teas are brewed at different temperatures, for example, yellow tea is poured with water at a temperature of 70-80 ° C and brewed for 1-3 minutes.

If you haven’t sweetened your ginger tea, I recommend adding a few mint leaves and/or lemon balm. You should also add a piece of cinnamon or some cinnamon powder here. You can also add a few slices of citrus fruits, ginger, a pinch of turmeric.

An interesting addition is also orange or apple juice. If you prefer sweeter teas, then add a little cane sugar or honey. I suggest adding honey, cooled to a temperature of 40 degrees, to the tea so that it does not lose most of its medicinal properties, including antibacterial ones.
