Grape jam is very beautiful and tasty, with an impeccable taste. Jam can decorate morning toast or become a worthy filling for various confectionery products.
Ingredients:
Grapes – 1800 gr. (Isabella or Corcord variety)
Sugar – 1 kg.,
Fresh lemon — 90 ml.,
Lemon peel – 1/2 pc.

Method of cooking:

Wash the grapes well.

Then the most tedious process begins. In the pot in which we will cook the jam, we squeeze out the inside of the grapes, discarding the skins. We do this with each berry.

Then put the grapes on medium heat and bring to a boil. Then cover with a lid and cook for about 3-5 minutes. If necessary, add a little water.

Then we strain the contents through a sieve to get rid of the bones. Return everything to the pan and add the rest of the ingredients — lemon zest and juice, sugar. Mix everything well with a wooden spoon. Bring the contents to a boil over high heat, then cook the jam for 20-30 minutes until ready on low heat. To avoid jam burning to the pan, reduce the heat. To check the degree of readiness of the jam, you need to scoop up a little jam with an ice spoon and try it.

You will need to remove the white foam from the jam as it cooks. When the jam is ready, sterilize the jars and pour the jam into them, close the lids and let them cool at room temperature.
