Langoshi. How to cook langoustines.

Langoshi (from Hungarian láng – “fire”) – Hungarian fried bread, it is also called Hungarian pizza. There is an opinion that this product entered Hungarian cuisine and the Carpathian region during the Turkish yoke, although there are sources that believe that langosh has ancient Roman roots. But no matter how the history of the langosh’s journey is interpreted, it is still a fair season, street treat in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Slovakia and by itself in the cuisine of the Carpathians.

A tortilla is served with garlic sauce, sour cream, cheese – with all these ingredients together, or even just grated garlic and sprinkled with salt. Cumin and potatoes are sometimes added to the dough. It is also very tasty with stewed cabbage and bacon. In a modern version, I saw langoustine with sausage – like a pizza. And I’ll be honest – I like this kind of food more than hot burgers with substitutes for products and flavors.
