Lazy appetizer with sausage and cheese – a recipe with a photo

Today we will prepare a quick snack with sausage and cheese. Such a hearty and very tasty snack will save you when guests suddenly have to come. It is also very convenient to take with you on a picnic or for any other occasion.

Ingredients:
puff pastry – 500 g;
sausage – 200 g;
Sire – 300

For the sauce:
tomato paste – 70 g;
water – 70 g;
onion – 1 pcs.;
garlic – 2 cloves;
salt – 1/2 teaspoon;
sugar – 1 teaspoon;
bay leaf – 1 pc.;
basil – 1 teaspoon;
oregano – 1/2 tsp.

The process of making a lazy snack with sausage and cheese.

Finely chop one onion. Also finely chop 2 cloves of garlic.

Fry the chopped onion in a hot pan with a small amount of sunflower oil. When the onion becomes a little golden, add chopped garlic and fry for about 1 more minute.

Dilute 70 g of tomato paste with water to the consistency of sour cream. Pour the diluted tomato paste into the pan and mix everything thoroughly. Here we add 0,5 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 bay leaf, 1 teaspoon of basil and 0,5 teaspoons of oregano. Mix everything, cover with a lid and simmer for about 3 minutes on low heat.

In this case, 2 sheets of puff pastry of 250 g each. Roll out the dough a little, smear it with the prepared sauce (if you don’t have time to make the sauce, you can smear it with ketchup).

Place thinly sliced ​​sausage on top of the sauce, and place slices of cheese on top of the sausage. For 2 sheets of puff pastry, you will need 200 g of sausage and 300 g of cheese. Roll the prepared dough with the filling into a roll.

Cut the roll into pieces approximately 2,5-3 cm wide.

Place the sliced ​​rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. We place the rolls so that there is a free space between them. We put it in an oven heated to 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Such an appetizer with sausage and cheese turned out fragrant, soft and very tasty. It is simply impossible to tear yourself away from her. Such an appetizer will help you when you need to cook something quick and tasty.
