Ingredients:
Mackerel – 1 piece;
Garlic – 2 cloves;
Vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon;
Lemon – half;
Parsley bunches;

How to prepare baked mackerel.

If you bought frozen mackerel, you must first thaw it. Then wash thoroughly under running water. Next, with the help of a knife, we will process the fish. Clean the guts, then carefully remove the gills, trim the fins if desired. After the procedure, wash the fish well, inside and out, until it is completely clean.

After we wash the fish well, we rub it with various spices. Salt and pepper both inside and outside. Next, cut the lemon into small pieces, cutting it in half. Then, with a sharp knife, make oblique but deep incisions in the fish and insert lemons into the incisions.

Next, wash the greens well, I use parsley, clean it from the stem and finely chop the leaves on a board. Also, if desired, you can add dill to parsley, but not in a very large amount.

Just like the greens, finely chop the garlic, but first don’t forget to peel it and rinse it a little.

Now we put everything that we cut into a separate container, add a little vegetable oil, add a little more salt and pepper and mix everything thoroughly.

Next, we unroll a small piece of cooking foil and put the mackerel on it, after which we carefully stuff it with greens. There should not be too much stuffing, try to do everything in moderation.

After that, we wrap our fish in foil and put it on a baking sheet. We send the mackerel to bake in an oven heated to a temperature of 180 degrees for about thirty minutes. After the time is up, take the fish out of the oven, unroll it, freeing it from the foil, and bake it for another ten minutes.
