Manty is one of the classic dishes of the Middle East. Practically her “face”. Juicy and aromatic Asian dumplings cannot but be close to our gastronomic culture, so feel free to treat your loved ones and guests with them!

pork – 700 g;
pumpkin – 300 g;
onion – 200 g;
wheat flour – 500 g;
water – 200 g;
cumin seeds to taste;
dried thyme to taste;
salt to taste;
black pepper to taste.

How to cook manti in a slow cooker.

First, let’s prepare the filling. Cut the meat into thin pieces, them into strips, and the strips into small pieces no bigger than a fingernail.

And grind it in a blender.

Peel the pumpkin and grate it on a coarse grater.

Put the meat, onion and pumpkin in a bowl. There we add salt and pepper, thyme and cumin. Everything is to taste.

Mix thoroughly. The stuffing for mantis is ready!

Now it’s the turn of the dough. It is prepared very simply: flour is poured into a bowl, water and two teaspoons of salt are added to it, everything is thoroughly mixed. If you see that the dough sticks to your hands, add a little flour.

Cover the finished dough with polyethylene and put it in a cool place for half an hour.

Divide the dough into four parts. We roll out each part in turn into sausages and cut them into 7-8 equal pieces.

Let’s start sculpting. To do this, thinly roll out a piece of dough.

We spread one tablespoon of filling with a small slide on it. Try to make sure that there is less water in the filling: this way, the molded manti will not leak.

We connect and pinch the opposite ends of the dough along the long side as shown in the photo.

Turn and pinch the dough from the other two sides.

With the obtained “tails”, we wrap the mantle from two sides and connect the ends of these “tails”. It turns out such a beautiful thing.

There is also a simpler way of sculpting — according to the type of envelope, when the opposite sides are simply fastened in the center. Such mantas are called lazy.

The easiest thing left is to instruct the multicooker to prepare our dish. Pour about a liter of hot boiled water into the multicooker bowl, grease the mold with vegetable oil and put a portion of mantis on it. Close the pan and set the cooking mode to steam for half an hour.
