These delicious meatballs in tomato sauce can be served with buckwheat, rice, mashed potatoes. Today I served them with pasta.

Cut the tomatoes.

Clean and cut the onions small cubes Add one onion to the minced meat, and the other to the sauce.

Chop the parsley.

Cut the olives into rings.

In a saucepan, fry one onion in olive oil until transparent.

Add tomatoes with juice.

Next, add parsley, half a glass of water, salt and pepper. Bring the sauce to a boil, cover with a lid and cook over low heat 10 minutes., then remove from heat.

Now we make meatballs. Put minced meat, remaining finely chopped onion in a bowl, break an egg, add oregano, salt and pepper. Knead well with your hands until the minced meat becomes viscous (10-15 minutes).

Form small meatballs from the minced meat. So that the minced meat does not stick to your hands, periodically wet them with water.

Fry the meatballs on all sides in olive oil until golden brown.

When the meatballs are fried, we return to the sauce. Bring the tomato sauce to a boil and add the chopped olives.

Next, carefully lay out the meatballs.

Quickly bring to a boil, cover with a lid and simmer on the lowest heat for 5-10 minutes.

Mini meatballs in tomato sauce are ready.

Put boiled pasta on serving plates, put meatballs with tomato sauce on top and sprinkle with parsley.
