Navy-style macaroni with stew – a recipe for cooking the dish.

Navy-style macaroni is one of those universal dishes that always come to the rescue when there is no time, energy or imagination to prepare something more original. Hearty, simple and not particularly original, this dish is at the same time very tasty.

I often cook it with minced meat and even pate, but my husband and I love navy-style macaroni with homemade stew the most. Yes, it is homemade, tasty, appetizing and completely natural, without any GMOs. When my mother from the village hands us a couple of cans of pork stew, the first thing I do is always buy a pack of macaroni to prepare a simple and delicious dish.

So I hasten to share the recipe for making Navy-style macaroni with stew. It is unlikely to be suitable for a festive table, but as a hearty dinner it is exactly what the “doctor prescribed”.

Ingredients:
0,5 kg of pasta (I usually take noodles);
homemade stew;
salt and ground black pepper – to taste;
2 medium-sized bulbs;
refined sunflower oil – for frying.

How to prepare a dish.

First, let’s prepare the pasta itself. Most of all, I like to use noodles for this dish – long and flat pasta.

I boil them in salted water, first breaking them into 3 parts. When the pasta is cooked, I put it in a colander to drain all the liquid.

While the pasta is cooking, let’s work on the onions and meat. Onions must be peeled and cut into small cubes.

We heat the pan in refined oil and send the chopped onion there. Fry until slightly golden.

We open the jar and send a few tablespoons of it to the pan – for this amount of pasta, I take a little more than half of a 0,5-liter jar.

I cover the pan with a lid and wait for 10 minutes until the stew “disperses” a little. Then I grind a little of it with a spoon so that there are no large pieces.

I add onion stew to the finished pasta, sprinkle with ground black pepper, add salt if necessary, and then mix all the ingredients well. It turns out a tasty, hearty and appetizing dish, which is combined with any salad, and it is especially delicious with the simplest one – with tomatoes.
