Preparation of orange cake. The highlight of this orange cake is that it contains boiled orange, which gives the cake a special texture and taste.
I baked the cake in a silicone mold measuring 27x10x7 cm.

Wash the orange well with soda. Pour water, bring to a boil and cook, covered with a lid, for about 1,5 hours. until soft.

Then cool the orange a little, cut it and be sure to remove all the seeds, otherwise the cake will be unpleasantly bitter.

Then grind the boiled orange into a puree with a blender.

Add sugar to the butter (butter, like all other ingredients for the cake, should be at room temperature) and beat with a mixer.

Add eggs one at a time to the beaten butter, beating thoroughly with a mixer each time.

Add orange puree to the resulting mass. Beat with a mixer.

Then pour sifted flour mixed with baking powder. And again mix thoroughly with a mixer at low speed.

Put the dough in a form greased with refined oil and bake in an oven heated to 180 °C for 40-45 minutes.

After that, remove the cake from the mold and cool it on a wire rack. Then sprinkle the cake generously with powdered sugar. Orange cupcake is ready.
