Peasant-style potatoes in the oven – a recipe with a photo
Today we are preparing very tasty Ukrainian-style baked potatoes with bacon and zucchini. Potatoes can be baked with any vegetables: eggplants, sweet peppers, onions, tomatoes. Instead of bacon, lard with a slit. Spices to your taste.
Ingredients:
young potatoes – 500 g;
zucchini – 1-2 pcs.;
bacon – 200 g;
garlic – 3-4 cloves;
vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
salt, spices to taste;

The process of cooking potatoes in the peasant way.
To begin, cut the zucchini into circles. Salt them and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then drain the excess liquid.
Wash the young potatoes very well, do not remove the skin. We also cut into circles.

Now we put zucchini in a form lightly greased with vegetable oil. We also lay out the garlic, which was cut into plates.
Potatoes to be salted and seasoned with spices.
Cover with foil and bake our dish for 20 minutes.
Then remove the foil and cook for another 20 minutes. The temperature in the oven is up to 200 degrees.
We serve the dish hot. Sprinkle greens on top. It turned out to be a very filling, juicy and tasty dish.
