Pepper stuffed with meat and corn. Recipe with photo / Second dishes / Delicious

Put minced meat, finely chopped onion (reserve 1/3 of it for gravy), an egg and a bread roll squeezed out of the water into a large bowl. Salt, pepper and knead well by hand.

Add corn, parsley and onions to the minced meat. Knead well again.

Prepare peppers for stuffing: cut off the upper parts with fruit stalks, clean from seeds and partitions.

Fill the prepared peppers with minced meat.

Peel the tomato and cut it into small cubes.

In the pot where the pepper will be prepared, fry the remaining onion in olive oil until transparent.

Add chopped tomatoes, salt well and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then put the pepper in the pan, as in the photo, and add 100 ml of water.

Cover with a lid, quickly bring to a boil.

Then sprinkle the pepper with grated cheese and bake in an oven heated to 200 °C for about 45 minutes.
If desired, cheese can be added after 5 minutes. until ready.
