Method of cooking:
Cut the cabbage into square pieces of approximately 3×3 cm.

Cut the beets into thin slices.

Garlic just needs to be cleaned.

Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.

Layers of cabbage in a large pot, then beets with carrots and garlic, pepper, then cabbage again. There should be about 3-4 such layers.

When the top layer is in place (it should be cabbage), prepare the marinade.

For the marinade, mix vinegar, sugar, salt and oil in a fairly large container; pour a liter of boiling water and mix.
Pour the hot marinade over the cabbage and put it under pressure. After a couple of hours, the marinade will cover the cabbage, and after 2-3 days, the cabbage will be ready and can be transferred to jars and put in the refrigerator.
