Pickled cucumber salad – recipe with photo.

It happens that to prepare a salad you need a whole set of interesting and tasty products, and as a result the taste turns out so-so. But sometimes even from a minimum of the most ordinary and simple ingredients, you can create an unexpectedly tasty combination.

Here is my recipe for today, which is incredibly simple. Its composition is accessible to everyone, and any cook, even a beginner, can handle its preparation. Do not believe? Then read on.

— 1 large bulb;
— 2 small pickled cucumbers;
— 1 sweet and sour apple.

For the filling:
— 2 tsp. lemon juice;
— 1 st. l. olive oil;
– a pinch of ground black pepper.

Salad recipe.

First of all, I advise you to pay attention to the onion. To remove its characteristic bitterness, I suggest cleaning it, cutting it and pouring boiling water over it for a few minutes. Then squeeze the onion from excess moisture and put it in a salad bowl.

Next we have cucumbers. Good, homemade pickled cucumbers, tasty and crunchy just to the point of obscenity. They should be cut into small strips. And then send to the onion, which has already cooled.

All that remains is to finely chop the apple, having previously peeled it. At this stage, quickly sprinkle with freshly squeezed lemon juice. We do this so that the apple does not lose its white color and does not darken.

I also put apple straws in a salad bowl.

Then I add a pinch of ground black pepper and Provencal herbs to this mix, and also add a little olive oil.

All that remained was to mix our wonderful snack – it turned out to be incredibly tasty and very useful.

Before serving, it is worth arming yourself with a few sprigs of greens, since our salad itself turns out to be very pale and dull.
