Pies from lavash – a recipe with a photo

Today we are preparing crispy envelopes of pita bread with eggplant and mushrooms, as always, very simply, quickly and deliciously.

Ingredients:
pita bread – 1 units;
eggplants – 3 pcs.;
mushrooms – 300 g;
onion – 1 pcs.;
salt, pepper to taste;
vegetable oil for frying.

The process of making pita pies.

First, cut the eggplants into cubes, salt and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then you can rinse them under cold water to remove the bitterness.

Mushrooms are also cut into cubes, just like eggplants.

Finely chop the onion.

Fry the onion in vegetable oil until light brown.

Add mushrooms and eggplants and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat, while stirring.

At the end of cooking, add salt and ground black pepper (all to your taste).

Cut pita bread into squares.

We spread the filling and wrap it in an envelope.

Fry on both sides in well-heated oil until golden.

Serve the snack hot or warm.
