Pork baked with potatoes in the oven.

The pork meat prepared according to this recipe turns out to be very tender, aromatic and, of course, tasty, and in combination with potatoes, it turns out to be a full-fledged dish with a side dish, giving a real feast for the stomach.

Ingredients:
pork neck – 700 g;
potatoes – 450 g;
onion – 2 pc.;
lime juice – 50 ml;
salt – to taste;
ground black pepper – to taste;
carrot – 2 pc.;
hard cheese – 400 g;
mayonnaise – 2 tbsp. l .;
garlic – 3 cloves.

Recipe for baked pork with potatoes.

So, to begin with, you need to wash the pork neck well and cut it across the fibers into portioned pieces. Each piece should be lightly beaten with a special hammer on both sides so that it turns out to be tender.

Place the chopped pieces of pork in a deep pan, add salt and pepper to taste, and add garlic passed through a press to the same place.

Add lime juice to the meat in the pot. I have it ready-made, that is, squeezed, but you can squeeze it yourself. After that, mix everything well, close the lid and leave the meat to marinate for half an hour.

In the meantime, while the meat is marinating, you can prepare the potatoes. To do this, you need to wash it well, peel it and cut it into thin slices, then put it on a baking sheet greased with sunflower oil, salting the potatoes on top.

After the meat is marinated, put it on top of the potatoes.

And now we will prepare carrots and onions. Carrots must be grated on a coarse grater, add mayonnaise to the grated carrots and mix everything together.

The onion should be peeled and cut into rings, after which it should be placed on the laid out pieces of meat.

Next, put the carrots cooked in mayonnaise on top of the meat on folded onion rings.

At the end of the preparation of the dish for baking, it is necessary to pour grated cheese on the meat.

And finally, put the tray with the prepared ingredients in the oven, setting the temperature to 160 degrees, cooking until the potatoes are fully cooked, for about 40 minutes.

In order for the dish to turn out juicier, including the potatoes, which may dry out during the baking process, I advise you to grease the top with oil after 10 minutes of baking, and send it to continue baking.
