Potato casserole with sausage is one of the most interesting ideas for a tasty and quick dinner. The recipe is very simple, and the casserole is tasty, beautiful and easy to prepare. Also, such a dish can be easily put on the festive table.
The process of cooking casserole with potatoes and sausage.
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into circles no more than 1 cm thick. Pour the washed potato slices into a saucepan with cold water. Pour 1 tbsp. l. salt without bitter. Cover the pan with a lid and put it on the stove at high power. When the potatoes boil, reduce the power of the burner and cook it for about 5-8 minutes, counting from the time the water boils. Potato slices should be half cooked. Drain the water and allow the potato slices to cool slightly.
Advice: You can add a few cloves of garlic to the casserole. Peel the garlic and cut it into thin slices, then add them to the onion 5 minutes before the end of frying.
Advice: you can replace the cream with plain milk or mix the cream with milk.
Put the dish with potato casserole in an oven heated to 180 degrees. Choose the middle shelf with the up-down baking function. Bake the potato casserole uncovered for 40 minutes (or longer, depending on your cookware, oven, etc.).
Advice: at the end of baking, you can also add an extra layer of mozzarella or cheddar cheese to enhance the taste of the casserole.
