Potato pizza – recipe with photo

Today we are preparing a very unusual, but insanely delicious potato-based pizza. Pizza is perfect for breakfast and lunch. It is very easy to prepare from the simplest ingredients. All lovers of potatoes and pizza will like it.

Ingredients.
For the base:
potatoes – 500-550 g;
eggs – 1 pcs.;
flour – 1 glass;
salt and pepper – to taste;
dried garlic – 1 teaspoon;
oregano – 1 teaspoon;
paprika – 1/2 tsp.

For the filling:
ketchup – 50-60 g;
garlic – 2 cloves;
mozzarella cheese – 130-150 g;
Parmesan cheese – 20 g;
onion – 1 pc.;
cherry tomatoes – 6 pcs.;
sausage (ham) – 80 g;
basil – to taste.

The process of making potato pizza.

Let’s prepare the potato base. To do this, rub the potatoes on a coarse grater and immediately put them in cold water. I want to get rid of excess starch. Wash well in cold water. Then drain the water and squeeze the potatoes.

I add 1 egg, spices, salt, ground black pepper, and flour to the potatoes. I mix everything well.

Now let’s fry our potato dough. I pour a little vegetable oil, lay out and distribute the dough in an even layer over the entire pan.

Fry the base on one side. I cover the pan with a lid and fry like this for about 4-5 minutes. Turn the base over, also cover with a lid and fry for 4-5 minutes.

I remove the finished potato base directly on a baking sheet, which is greased with vegetable oil.

Grate the cheese.

Let’s prepare the sauce. Rub the garlic directly into the ketchup, add a little oregano and a little black pepper. Let’s mix.

Cut the onion into very thin rings. And let’s just cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

We form a pizza. Spread the sauce on the base, spread it well.

Put cheese (leave a little), onion on top.

We lay out sausage, tomatoes, a little more mozzarella and parmesan.

We send the pizza to a well-heated oven to 220 degrees for about 10-12 minutes so that the cheese melts well.

You can sprinkle oregano on top, you can sprinkle with Italian herbs.
