I really like to cook in the oven and slow cooker. The main advantage is that I put all the products in a container (pot or bowl), including the equipment, and wait for cooking. At this time, I can manage to do many things, and lunch or dinner is prepared by itself without my active participation.

So today I decided to simplify my life and prepared delicious potatoes in pots for dinner and did not even have time to get tired of this work. To make the dish tastier, I added a couple of pieces of pumpkin and smoked ribs to the potatoes. My boys couldn’t wait for the finished meal, because the aroma was not only in the kitchen. He spread throughout the house and tickled noses, inviting dinner.

I think that your relatives will not refuse such a dish, so I am sharing the recipe in the hope that you too will be able to save time on cooking and at the same time feed hungry household members.

Ingredients (for 4 servings):
potatoes – 10-15 pcs. (depends on the size);
smoked ribs – 400-500 g (the more, the better);
a piece of pumpkin;
sour cream – 200 ml;
dried or fresh dill;
salt and ground black pepper to taste;
a sheet of pita bread.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized cubes.

We send the potatoes to the pots, filling most of the container with pieces of potatoes.

Cut the smoked ribs into pieces.

We send several pieces of ribs to each pot.

Peel the pumpkin, cut into small pieces.

We put a layer of pumpkin in pots.

The dish is salted, sprinkled with dill and peppered to taste.

Pour water into the pots, and pour sour cream on top.

Cover the pots with pieces of pita bread, which will serve as lids.

We send the pots to the oven. At a temperature of 180 degrees, bring the potatoes to readiness.

We serve the potatoes to the table warm. Sweet taste!
