Protein salad. How to prepare a salad.

The recipe for such a salad is perfect for a light dinner or snack, because it contains a lot of protein and vegetables.

Ingredients:
beef (boiled) – 100 g;
large tomatoes – 1 pc.;
cucumber – 1 pc.;
egg (boiled) – 1 pc.;
onion 0,5 pc.;
olive oil – to taste;
grain mustard – 0,5 tsp;
balsamic vinegar – to taste;
garlic – 0,5 cloves;
bay leaf and allspice – to taste;
iceberg lettuce – 50 g;
ground black pepper – to taste;
fresh basil – to taste.

Preparation of protein salad.

First of all, boil the egg and beef (with allspice and bay leaf). Tear iceberg lettuce mercilessly into a bowl directly with your hands.

Cut the cucumbers into strips.

We also try to cut the tomatoes in a similar way. I have a fleshy variety, so the straws came out, and if the tomato has a lot of liquid, just cut it as you like.

We send everything to a bowl.

Cut the onion into half rings and steam it in boiling water so that it does not become bitter (with pepper, you can add a little sugar and vinegar or citric acid).

Cut the beef into strips in the same way.

If you are too much on a diet, remove the yolk from the egg and cut the protein into strips.

Strain the onion and add to the salad.

Let’s take care of the aromatic dressing. Add a little grain mustard to the olive oil.

Finely chopped garlic and ground pepper.

About a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar.

Add finely chopped basil.

And mix to an approximately homogeneous consistency.

Season the salad with the resulting aromatic oil and mix well.
