Recipe for rolls with cheese

1. Mix soft butter with sour cream to a homogeneous consistency. Mix sifted flour with salt and baking powder for dough. Beat the egg, crumble the cottage cheese.

2. Combine all the ingredients, except cheese, sesame and dried herbs (leave a little egg for greasing the roll), and knead the elastic dough. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge for an hour.

3. Roll out the dough into a layer 3 mm thick, sprinkle with crumbled cheese, cut rectangles of any size and roll into rolls. Brush them with a beaten egg on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds and dried herbs. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake in an oven heated to 180 C for 35-40 minutes.

* If the cheese is very salty, it should be soaked overnight in cold water, and then squeezed well, or soaked, changing the water to fresh every hour.
