Salad for Valentine s Day From the bottom of my heart

1. Peel the carrots, boil, cool, cut into cubes. Wash and finely chop the green parsley or cilantro, leaving a few leaves for decoration.

2. Prepare the marinade: mix 100 ml of vinegar with half a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of sugar, mix thoroughly. Clean two large onions, cut them into half rings, put them in the marinade and leave them for two hours in a cold place.

3. Cut the meat into cubes, add to it 200 g of peas (keep some peas aside for decoration), carrots, parsley and mix. Drain the marinade from the onion and add it to the salad.

4. Season the salad with mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. Decorate the salad with parsley and lay out peas in the shape of a heart.

* Onions marinated in vinegar are quite spicy. If you want to soften its taste, you can reduce the marinating time, or dilute the vinegar with water.

* If desired, you can add green onions and dry herbs to the salad to taste.
