Salad with crab sticks and rice is a salad that will come to the rescue when you need to feed your family with delicious and hearty food. This dish can also be served to guests, having prepared it for the holiday.

All products for this salad are available in any store, which allows you to call the recipe affordable. Anyone who knows how to make crumbly rice can prepare the dish, as it is the most time-consuming process during preparation, which requires 20 minutes of your time.

Ingredients:
– 1 cup of rice;
— 1 glass of water;
— 1 pack of crab sticks;
– 5 eggs;
— bunch of greens (onion and/or dill);
– salt and ground black pepper to taste;
– 200 g of mayonnaise.

How to cook a salad with crab sticks and rice.

Wash the rice, fill it with water in a ratio of 1:1 and boil it until ready with a small amount of salt. This time I used a multicooker to cook rice, as it perfectly prepares crumbly rice “porridge”, which will be the basis for the salad.

We boil the eggs, cool them, peel them and cut them into cubes.

Defrost the crab sticks and cut them into fairly large pieces.

Mix the cooled rice with eggs, crab sticks and mayonnaise.

Salt the salad, add a little pepper for taste and smell, and add greens. We mix the dish, but we do it delicately so that the ingredients are mixed, but do not lose their shape.

Such a salad can be prepared 1-2 hours before the arrival of guests or a family lunch/dinner. The dish “does not release juice”, so it can rest a little in the refrigerator under a film or a lid before serving. You can also eat the salad immediately after cooking, which is very convenient when guests are already on the doorstep or a hungry husband has come home from work.
