Salad with herring and potatoes – a recipe with a photo

Today we are preparing a very simple and tasty salad for daily cooking. The salad is incredibly tasty, it is prepared quickly and without hassle.

Ingredients:
potatoes – 800 g;
onion – 1 pc.;
slightly salted herring fillet – 250-300 g;
sugar – 0,5 teaspoon;
salt – to taste;
ground black pepper – to taste;
dill;
green onion;
vegetable oil.

Cut 1 onion into thin half rings. Pour into a bowl, add half a teaspoon of sugar and a little salt to the onion. We knead with our hands.

We boil 800 g of potatoes, cut them into cubes and add them to our onions.

Next, we will need 250-300 g of lightly salted herring in oil. Cut it into small pieces and send it to the salad.

We wash our greens, finely chop them and add them to our dish. We also add ground black pepper or a mixture of peppers, season with vegetable oil.
