Method of cooking:
We thoroughly wash the strawberries from sand, etc.

Remove the tails, cut each strawberry in half (small berries can be left whole).

Mash the strawberries with a potato masher. Do not try to do this with a blender – the blender will grind everything into a puree, and we need whole pieces of strawberries to get into the mass. This is the whole point of the dessert, so don’t overdo the grinding – you just need to press the strawberries so that they give juice.

Add sour cream, yogurt or cream. Add sugar.

Mix everything well and serve.
