fresh or frozen strawberries – 500 g;
cream 30% – 1 glass (250 g);
gelatin – 4 teaspoons;
powdered sugar – 3 tbsp. l.;
lemon or lime juice – 3 tbsp. l.

Today we are preparing strawberry mousse. Preparing strawberry mousse is absolutely simple, and it turns out incomparable: fragrant, tender, cooling. Just a great dessert.

The process of making strawberry mousse.

  1. Wash 0,5 kg of strawberries and cut them into smaller pieces. If you have frozen strawberries, you don’t need to defrost them. Just put in a small saucepan and start heating over medium heat. Do not cover the pan with a lid. Stir the strawberries with a wooden spoon. It should be cooked for about 10 minutes.

Whip the cream until it becomes stiffer. This may take 1 minute or a little longer. Be careful not to beat for too long as the cream will curdle and separate. How quickly you get perfectly whipped cream depends on the fat content of the cream, the degree of its cooling and the power of the mixer.
